Newsletter 24th February
I hope that you all had a good half-term break and that you managed to get out and about and enjoy some time with your family. Despite storm ‘Doris’ battering us this week there are some signs of Spring around the corner. I’m looking forward to the daffodils blooming around the school in the next few weeks.
The children slipped back into their routines with ease this week and the school has been a hive of activity. Year 5 went to SkillZone in Gloucester this week to find out about keeping safe in all manner of situations. In our celebration assembly we saw some amazing pieces of work and shared the children’s successes with the whole school. I am continually impressed with the number of children who are really engaging in their learning both at home and in school. Thank you all for your ongoing support with reading, spelling, tables and homework in general; it really makes a difference.
