Glenfall School Eco Club
Glenfall School Eco Club is a pupil led initiative, which is supported by Mrs Nye. As a club, we have achieved our Bronze and Silver Eco Schools awards and are currently working towards our Gold award!
Children from Years 1 to 6 meet after school, twice every half term and discuss lots of environmental issues affecting Glenfall School and the local environment. In recent years we have carried out litter picks, have started composting and have encouraged the recycling of paper, cardboard and plastic in school. This year we have started recycling old pens, batteries, plastic bottles, stamps, crisp packets, clothes, bottle tops and sweet wrappers.
We are a busy group and are passionate about looking after our school, the environment and ultimately OUR WORLD.
