Newsletter 6th March
I hope that you all had a good half-term break and that you managed to get out and about and enjoy some time with your family. Despite storm ‘Dennis’ battering us there are some signs of Spring around the corner. The daffodils blooming around the school are already looking magnificent.
The children have slipped back into their routines since they returned and the school has been a hive of activity. Key Stage 1 had a visit from Glos Fire Service, Year 5 visited the Ladies College for a science show and Y4 held their explorers day. Year 5 have also performed at the Town Hall at the Feet First Festival. In our celebration assembly we saw some amazing pieces of work and shared the children’s successes with the whole school. I am continually impressed with the number of children who are really engaging in their learning both at home and in school. Thank you all for your ongoing support with reading, spelling, tables and homework in general; it really makes a difference.
