Half term has finally arrived and it’s been another busy week in school. Children from Year 3,4,5 & 6         participated in the St Edwards Olympic Flame athletics event yesterday and Glenfall were represented on the podium for a range of medals from 1st to 3rd.

This has been a very busy half term with lots of activities going on across the school. I do hope that you enjoyed the Easter Celebrations and the opportunities to come into school this week to look at your children’s work and displays.

Today was Languages Day at the school and were joined by pupils from Balcarras, parents and GCHQ Languages Outreach. The children had the opportunity to speak Mandarin, Russian, German, French, Arabic, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. With many areas of the country breaking up for half –term          today, it feels like our half-term break is still quite a long way off. It has been a long and challenging          half-term in many ways but as always it has been a    delight to see the children really enjoying their learning at school.
